
After three weeks on the road – where the team travelled thousands of kilometres, met thousands of bookkeepers and accountants, and drank nearly as many coffees – the roadshow has come to an end for another year.
I was blown away by the passion on display from Xero’s account managers, partner consultants, territory managers … frankly, everyone who was involved in making the roadshow what it is. People within Xero truly want to help bookkeepers and accountants to be successful.
That shines through our new campaign, launched at the roadshow. It’s called “Add a Xero” and it’s there to champion our partners, drive SMBs to your firms, and ultimately help you grow your business. And as we do so, I encourage you to take the opportunity to update your Advisor Directory listing. Our data shows that doing so can improve the odds of converting your leads into customers.
The roadshow has confirmed my belief that we are making a real difference in the lives of our partners. Now it’s on Xero to continue to make the world’s most beautiful software for you; to lead the industry in being effective, efficient and reliable.
The story of efficiency and growth
The team has returned buzzing with new stories; sharing the different ways you’re using tools and integrations to work around time-sucks and become more efficient. We often talk about facilitating growth, particularly for small business, but I want to re-weight the theme to have a balance of both.
Because efficiency predicates growth. It frees up time. And that means you have more to reinvest elsewhere: to boost your profits, build your capacity for more clients, or spend more time at home. As we close the doors on our 24 venues for another year, I want to thank everyone who made the journey, near and far, to make this year’s roadshow season so informative. You filled the rooms with the questions, feedback and ideas that will inform our next steps.
So as we look at the year ahead, I want to help Xero do even more to support each and every bookkeeper, accountant and small businesses that partners with us; to learn your latest challenges, and find the most efficient new ways to solve them.
